,,,,,,,,WHAT TO EXPECT YOU'RE EXPATING
Over the course of this challenge, you will be making important choices that will determine the outcome and the survival of Casablanca.
Each decision you take, will either improve or dampen the chances of Bicoide being incorporated.
You will meet the corporations' bosses during the final stage. But, there are other challenges to overcome before you get there.
How much time you have:
**You have 5 minutes of real-world-time to complete the game.
**The time remaining can be viewed in the sidebar (on the left).
**The sidebar will pop-out intermittently to keep you reminded.
At each level, you will face a challenger.
The first challenger is the [[Gatekeeper]].Your first meeting: The Gatekeeper
He explains that the although the Biocide could be an important integration, it does not align to the dynamic energy needs of the city.
To take the conversation forward with the Gatekeeper, you decide to:
**[[Keep the focus on product - Biocide][$AccScore -= 18]]
**[[Understand the problem better][$AccScore += 0]]
**[[Highlight on the environmental reasons][$AccScore -= 9]]
<>
<<run UIBar.unstow()>>You hear out the Gatekeeper and understand that the corporation is concerned about energy shortage with the introduction of Biocide.
Having understood the problem better, you are able to address the concerns in a satisfactory manner. The Gatekeeper acknowledges your knowledge, and decides to personally introduce you to an Engineer from the Production department.
Acceptance of Biocide: <<if $AccScore > 100>> 100% <<else>>$AccScore% <</if>>
The Gatekeeper introduces you to the [[ENGINEER]].
You start by talking about how the environment is of great concern to the people of Casablanca and tell the Gatekeeper that the corporation needs to do a better job at managing the pollution created from energy production.
The Gatekeeper is not entirely convinced. But, he is willing to introduce you to a member of the production team.

The Gatekeeper introduces you to the [[Engineer]].
LORD OF THE (S)RINGS: CASABLANCA
The City of Casablanca has been experiencing shortage of energy for decades.
Sulphur rings have been used as a source of energy to meet almost 100% of the City's energy demands. However, there is a big problem with using Sulphur rings: pollution.
You are a part of the global Environmentalist group, Green Peas, encouraging the use of Biocide, in order to reduce the harmful emissions and discharge that arise from the use of Sulphur rings.
The challenge, however, is to convince large energy corporations to use Biocide in their process. Here, the barrier is not just of increased costs of investing in Biocide, but also that its use reduces the speed of energy production.
The citizens of Casablanca, hope you have what it takes to help improve the air quality in their city.
Before you proceed,

What do you do, here?

<<run UIBar.unstow()>>You present a data-driven case study that without doubt proves the longer term environmental impact of Biocide.

By listening further, you realise that they could save more operational time by modifying a few processes. This in turn opens up the option of integrating Biocide - with no loss of time.
The manager seems fairly convinced and waits for you to conclude.

<>You are transparent about the shortcomings of Biocide, from around 2 years ago. You go on to assure the manager that the product has improved to a great extent since that time.
You refer to a couple of important certifications that the product recieved over the last year. The manager half-heartedly listens to what you have to say, but goes on to set a meeting with the top level bosses of the corporation.

You gear up for your meeting with the [[corporation bosses]].
You want to know what it is that the manager exactly wants from a product like Biocide. You ask her questions that help you get to the deepest pain points of managing an energy corporation - its operations as well as public image.
Now, you have a very clear understanding of the corporations position and needs. The manager says she'll set up a meeting with the decision-makers from the top level.

The final meeting: The Corporation Bosses
The corporation leadership is aware that the Sulphur rings release fumes and emissions.
However, that is the short-term solution that the government wants. This is primarily because of the availability of raw materials in large quantities. The corporation is open to the idea of integrating Biocide, but there's a catch.
They give you two options, that could very well define the quality of life in Casablanca for years to come:
**Provide Biocide [[at 50% subsidised cost][$AccScore += 12]] with immediate effect
**Supply Biocide [[at its original cost][$AccScore += 4]] but in the next financial year
**Find [[an alternate solution][$AccScore += 8]]
